Helios World Inc. has a bold mission: to fix the world’s energy problems by collecting power from solar flares and sending it back to Earth. But things take a dangerous turn when the company ignores warnings from a scientist who helped design the system. Jonathan Kane, the company’s leader, is eager to move ahead and doesn’t realize the risks. His decision accidentally creates a powerful magnetic force that feeds on itself and grows stronger each day. This strange energy starts moving freely and threatens everything in its path. Michael Edwards, one of the top scientists on the team, begins to notice something isn’t right when a large amount of energy disappears without a trace. As the force becomes more dangerous and unpredictable, the situation worsens. Meanwhile, the company’s Paris office is about to launch the same flawed system, not knowing it could create a second energy threat across Europe. Now, time is running out as scientists race to stop a disaster that could spiral out of control on two continents.

Despite warnings of a design flaw from the developing scientist, company head Jonathan Kane pushes the project forward and unknowingly unleashes a free-ranging and self-perpetuating magnetic vortex. Only Michael Edwards, a leading scientist on the company team, thinks something might be amiss when a sizable portion of their harvested energy simply disappears. The general area thereafter discovers itself endangered by a roving and unprecedented problem growing rapidly in strength – unique, unpredictable and potentially unstoppable. As if this isn’t bad enough, the Paris branch of Helios World is set to run the same flawed program and thereby birth a second voracious monster in Europe.
